For inclusion and diversity in international mobility

Our mission

Democratise access to international mobility

We work to make international mobility accessible to young adults with fewer opportunities. We encourage their self-fulfillment, independence and professional inclusion through a positive experience abroad.

Quote from Sara

"I was searching for a way to go abroad for two years. Parcours le Monde IDF was the missing piece that finally allowed me to do it!"

Our results

fewer opportunities beneficiaries

We work with young adults the furthest placed from international mobility opportunities: 70% of our beneficiaries have little or no qualifications, 40% live in a priority district in Ile-de-France, 63% are NEET (not in education, employment or training). They are on average 23 years old.

annual departures

Financial constraints, language barriers, lack of confidence – there are many reasons for a young adult facing exclusion not to travel abroad. Thanks to the remarkable courage and determination of our team and the young people themselves, over 100 succeed each year!

decisive support plm

Our action is decisive in fewer opportunities youths going abroad. This field observation is corroborated by a 2017 INJEP study that highlights the necessity of support to overcome the obstacles linked to psychological and institutional mechanisms of poverty cycles.

Capacity to adapt (98%), autonomy (88%), English (93%), teamwork (93%), public speaking (91%), initiative (91%), open-mindedness (98%), communication (95%) – these are but a few of the valuable and sought-after skills gained during an international mobility experience!

confiance
are back in activity within four months
0 %

After their mobility, our beneficiaries quickly find employment (40%), training/studies (40%) or a voluntary program (20%) – proving that international mobility is an efficient tool for professional inclusion. Unsurprisingly, 91% claim it had a positive impact on their professional path.

compétences
gain in self-confidence
0 %

By helping them (re)gain their self-confidence, international mobility motivates fewer opportunity youths to break a pre-determined life path and pursue their desired jobs. Not only are they able to better identify new opportunities, they are more likely to go after them.
